As soon as you push open the door, the lobby of Siemens Healthineers’ Kuala Lumpur office tells a story with its “subtractive aesthetics” – redundant decorations are stripped away, leaving only elegant lines as the foundation, with Malay regional elements embedded in the details like subtle patterns: perhaps it’s the wall texture that echoes the warmth of the rainforest, or perhaps it’s the soft furnishings that extract the elegance of Nyonya porcelain, allowing the global brand identity and local roots to gently embrace each other here. The Experience Center next to it is more like a “talking exhibition hall”: without too many words, the light and shadow of cutting-edge medical equipment and the pictures and texts of patient care stories transform the brand’s innovative breakthroughs and humanistic concepts into an immersive sensory experience, allowing every visitor to understand the core of “technology for health”.

The design of the workspace represents a spatial revolution, transforming the workplace from restraint to freedom. The once uniformly fixed workstations have been completely dismantled, replaced by a fluid "functional network": when focus is needed, one can retreat to an enclosed "focus pod," shielded from the outside noise by glass; during team brainstorming sessions, the open "huddle spaces" with their whiteboards and soft chairs are always ready, ensuring no waiting for inspiration; and for occasional light work, the greenery and natural light next to the "hot desks" are the perfect companions. Even more ingenious is the ingenuity of "proximity design"—project team areas are adjacent to focus spaces, while social break areas connect to temporary offices. Chance encounters and casual conversations in the tea room become catalysts for cross-departmental collaboration, making "island-style work" a thing of the past.

The corridors and public areas are the "symbiotic zones" of brand culture and local sentiment. Art installations with traditional Malay patterns are hung on the walls, and the brand slogan is integrated into the end of the corridor in soft fonts. When employees walk by, they can find a sense of belonging in the familiar regional symbols and perceive the mission in the brand imprint. The soul of the entire space is hidden in the Work Café in the center - warm yellow lights wrapped in the aroma of coffee, long tables and scattered seats are flexibly combined, and there is no hierarchy here: executives and grassroots employees may discuss plans side by side, and team members will also sit together to celebrate project milestones. During the day, it is a "second office" for efficient collaboration; in the afternoon, a cup of coffee and snacks become an "energy station" to relieve stress, allowing the "sense of community" to grow naturally in the fireworks.
走廊與公共區(qū)域,則是品牌文化與本地情懷的 “共生帶”。馬來傳統(tǒng)紋樣的藝術(shù)裝置掛于墻面,品牌 Slogan 以柔和字體融入走廊盡頭,員工走過時(shí),既能在熟悉的地域符號(hào)里找到歸屬感,也能在品牌印記中感知使命。而整個(gè)空間的靈魂,藏在中央的 Work Café—— 暖黃燈光裹著咖啡香氣,長(zhǎng)桌與散座靈活組合,這里沒有層級(jí)之分:高管與基層員工可能并肩討論方案,團(tuán)隊(duì)成員也會(huì)圍坐慶祝項(xiàng)目里程碑。白日里,它是高效協(xié)作的 “第二辦公室”;午后,一杯咖啡配點(diǎn)心的時(shí)光,又成了舒緩壓力的 “能量補(bǔ)給站”,讓 “社區(qū)感” 在煙火氣中自然生長(zhǎng)。
