印章底部的文字為陰刻，蓋印時會呈現(xiàn)出白色文字、朱色印泥相襯的效果。所用文字為戰(zhàn)國時期的古文字，閱讀順序?yàn)樽宰笙蛴摇?/p>

The characters on the bottom of the seal are engraved in intaglio, which would result in white characters surrounded by the vermillion ink.The characters are an ancient form used during the Warring States period and are to be read from left to right.

舞者形象恬靜優(yōu)雅，長袖隨姿勢舒展而流動，面容細(xì)膩光滑。古代私人玉印常雕刻吉祥物件、鳥禽或瑞獸，此印上刻有主人的名字，或許既有驅(qū)邪祈福的寓意，也具實(shí)用功能。

The dancer is serene, with long sleeves flowing gracefully and a smooth, delicate face. Ancient private jade seals often bore auspicious motifs, and with the owner’s name engraved, this one likely served both to ward off evil and for practical use.

整方印章構(gòu)思巧妙、風(fēng)格獨(dú)特，在中國印章史、玉器史以及雕刻藝術(shù)史上都有重要地位。
